Will you Captain for Camp?
Over the years our Table Captains have been vital to our success, THANK YOU, and we need your help again. Please consider becoming a Table Captain or this year – Auction Captain – once again. Although we will not be hosting our traditional auction, we have still created a way in which our Auction Captains can be the driving force for our auction. To become and carry out the responsibilities of an Auction Captain, follow these steps.
- Sign Up – Contact the Camp Reed office e: campreed@ymcainw.org p: 509 720 5630 – or – online signup coming soon.
- Support Camp Reed's fundraising goal by contributing the amount to Send A Kid to Camp ($450).
- Please contact and raise dollars from at least ten individual supporters by choosing from the menu of fundraising options below.
How can Auction Captains Fundraiser? An auction would not be complete without a menu! Here is a menu of Fundraising Options! Be on the lookout for more to come!
- NOW AVAILABE - Create or Share a Giving Page - Invite your friends, family, and co-workers to donate. Post your fundraising page on your social media for all your Facebook friends to see, email it to your contacts asking them to support you, text the link to your tech-savvy grandma asking her to join you in strengthening our community.
- Place phone calls to your ten or more supporters. Click here to join!
- Host a Zoom/Virtual Party – Please consider hosting a Virtual Zoom Party with ten or more of your guests during the week of Camp Reed's Virtual Fundraiser & Auction (October 14th-17th). Camp Reed can provide you with any needed material and information to share Camp's mission. Phil "Buster" Harrison – Executive Director of YMCA Camp Reed – and other board members are committed to making themselves available to join your virtual party if scheduled. Camp Reed is planning a short live program that will be broadcasted on Saturday, October 17th (time TBD).
- In-person Parties of limited numbers – If we are in the appropriate phase, and you are comfortable, you may also host a fundraising social. As stated, before Camp Reed will provide you with any needed material and information to share Camp's mission.
- Follow us on Facebook & Instagram – During our Virtual Fundraiser, we will be running several social media campaigns and promotions, help us share the message to everyone.
- Encourage your supporters to ask for help from their supporters to help us in "105 for another 105" goal!

As we celebrate 105 years of operation during this landmark season, we rely on the support of our beloved alumni, family, and friends of camp to ensure that every child who wishes to attend camp has the opportunity to do so.
