Please join us in raising money for YMCA Camp Reed. On February 29th at Spokane Community College - 10:30 AM, Camp Reed Alumni and Community Members will join together to Bike or walk to raise dollars to send kids to camp! These funds go to support scholarships to send kids to camp. Help us share the magic of camp!

Read below for impact story of Camp Reed: No way—That was Noah’s first thought when his Camp Reed counselor, “Dig It,” announced that the cabin was going on an overnight camping trip. Noah was homesick and very afraid of the dark. Dig It sensed Noah’s hesitation and listened to his fears, assuring him that camp was a safe place to try something different that might be scary at first. By the time the night was over, Noah was having a blast. He had learned that his feeling of discomfort was fleeting, but the feelings of pride and belonging that filled his heart would stay with him all summer long—and beyond.

 

The YMCA’s largest fundraising event of the year returns for another exciting day of biking, walking, and all-around fun in support of the Y’s work to help those in need. Join over 1,000 other generous and fun-loving Friends of the Y as we raise money for important needs in our community like:

If tomorrow could be a perfect day, it would be just like the one when you arrived at Camp Reed in your youth to spend a week our doors playing all day, laughing hysterically, singing at the top of your lungs, and just hoping you would get that flag across the line in Capture the Flag. I am hoping you will help a child have this memorable experience by supporting my team - every little bit helps!

Please help me raise money for the YMCA. These funds go to support the thousands of people in our community that the Y helps every year. From kids in early learning classes and swim lessons to senior citizens on fixed incomes, the Y welcomes everyone in their doors regardless of their financial resources.
