As someone that was born and raised here in Sandpoint I have witness the need for a place for everyone like the YMCA. The Y is more than a gym if you take look at the people who are here you see, that it a place for friends to meet and to meet new friends, a place for parents to take some time to take care of themselves to improve the quality of care for their children. A place where the community can learn water safety, and both kids and adults learn to swim. Its not only the physical strength that makes a person strong but also is the mental side. The YMCA allows everyone the right not the privilege for health. It provides a safe and welcoming space for many within our community. I could write on and on about the Y and all its greatness, but I urge you to take a look yourself, or meet me for coffee and I will share stories of the changes and impacts that I have seen here at the YMCA. Please donate, this is an amazing thing here, and our community needs it. Every dollar stays here, going back out to the community through programs and scholarships.  Every dollar counts! My personal goal is $10,000 please help me, to help our community!
